Gene Meisner, of East Haven, has worked as a stylist for 24 years.

Gene graduated from Galmar School of Cosmetology in 1988. He studied cutting, color and styling under such masters as Irving Rusk, The Altieri Brothers, and

Jose Eber. He pursued technique and sharpened his skill set by attending

hair shows in Boston, New York and Chicago.

Gene has worked as a stylist for such well known salons as Princess, Panache,

and Designer’s and instructed at Brio Academy and Branford Academy. He also owned and operated Bayview Hair Company of Milford. He now specializes in cutting, color, and color correction.

Gene and his wife, Johnna are thrilled to be showcasing his talents in his

hometown of East Haven with the opening of Gene Allen’s Hair Studio.
